Soy Allergy.

In game Yosuke states that he's allergic to tofu. Tofu is made from the curds of soybean milk, so it could be inferred that he was either saying he's allergic because he simply doesn't like it, or he has a soybean allergy. It's a fairly common allergy that can be outgrown as one gets older, but some people do carry it on into adulthood. Mild signs and symptoms of soy allergy include hives or itching in and around the mouth. In rare cases, soy allergy can cause a life-threatening allergic reaction (anaphylaxis). Having a soy allergy means avoiding products that contain soy, which can be difficult. Many foods, such as meat products, bakery goods, chocolate and breakfast cereals, may contain soy. Or, in this case, tofu even when he wants to impress Rise Kujikawa.

In Yosuke's case, I don't think it's very severe. For the most part he just avoids it in general, but if he has small doses he'll get the mouth tingling sensation. If he has too much, he'll just get an upset stomach and regret it later. He'd rather avoid that all together, though. I also with with just a mild allergy because he eats Tofu in Q. While Persona Q isn't known for being the most canonly accurate as far as character presentations go, I want to incorporate it in the sense that he wouldn't just keel over. It does lend to his general food pickiness, as expanded on even further under "Fish are GROSS."

Western Music.

During the Persona Stalker Club program, it was revealed that Yosuke, while in combat, listens to western music and film soundtracks. In Persona 4 Arena, Yosuke has a poster that parodies AKB48. He also has CD albums resembling Linkin Park's Minutes to Midnight, Nickelback's All the Right Reasons, and the Grammy Nominees 2008 album.

Fish are GROSS.

Yosuke mentions several times throughout the game that he is disgusted by fish - not only the idea of eating fish, but the idea of fish in general. Aquarium would not be a good place to take him on a first date. So he generally avoids eating most seafood, which can be difficult at times. However, his refusal eat fish is completely arbitrary and has nothing to do with allergies, unlike soy. Strangely enough, he's okay with eating shellfish because "they're not scaly or slimy". He's also had octopus before and liked it, but immediately regretted it when he realized what it was.

He loves the idea of swimming, just not being touched by fish. That really creeps him out for no reason other than the fact that fish seem slimy. Also the smell of fish is something he doesn't like much either. He could probably get over this whole thing if he cared to, but he doesn't.

Human Heater.

Once he's asleep, Yosuke overheats really quickly. This usually ends up in him kicking blankets and sheets off during the night. He doesn't usually realize how hot he gets since he's, you know, NEVER SHARED A BED WITH SOMEONE LIKE THAT. He still likes curling up in blankets and napping under the kotatsu. It's other people that suffer.
