Either way, Yu will tuck his phone away and bide his time till the end of the day. Usually he's very attentive, but frankly, he's already gotten into college and his grades are assured. It feels all but pointless, classes, this last week or two, but he's not the kind of student to simply quit for reasons like that. Still, it's tough to pay attention...

So it's a relief that the end of the day has come. Yu will gather up his things and head outside, taking his time, not sure if he should be dreading this or not. Maybe he should have just told the truth when Yosuke asked him what this was about...

Regardless, he'll find his friend at the bike racks, and come up behind him to clap a hand on his shoulder. ]

Hey. Did I keep you waiting?

[youraffection]

[ There's a lot of hustle and bustle once school is out--students are all making a break for it or moving to their afternoon clubs. So Yosuke doesn't hear Yu's approach, or at least notice the footsteps until Yu's hand is on his shoulder. Yosuke gives a small jump, blinking and looking up. ]

Oh! [ Whew. He offers a smile. ] You snuck up on me, man. But nah, I've only been here a minute.

[ One last glance at his phone and Yosuke turns off the screen, tucking it into his pocket. ]

So...just feeling extra hungry today?

[ Yu will offer a faint smile, dropping his hand and stepping back to slide that hand into his pocket instead.

He'll tilt his head at the question, largely inscrutable, and simply say: ]

Something like that. Ready for a walk?

[ Yosuke nods. A walk? Yes, though he is curious what bug of inspiration has taken a bite out of his friend. ]

Lead the way.

[ He'll fall into step beside the other boy as they begin to walk. There are a couple places Yosuke is familiar with, but he's not sure where Yu has in mind. ]

So...feeling the senioritis yet?

[ He teases with a nudge. ]

[ Lets his head fall to one side with the nudge, huffing a sigh through his nose. ]

.... will it make me a bad student if I say the answer is yes?

[ Rubs the back of his neck, staring up at the sky with a thoughtful slash of a frown. ]

I got accepted to college. What are we even doing at this point....?

[ ANOTHER SIGH. ]

It's alright. We'll be done soon.

[youraffection]

[ Yosuke shakes his head, waving off the sentiment. ]

No way. Even nerds can want a break every now and then.

[ He's teasing. Even if you are a nerd, Yu. ]

Making the rest of us jealous? [ He grins a little at that. ] It's your job to rub it in a bit.

Making you jealous. Want to be a nerd like me, Yosuke?

[ Smiling faintly as he lifts a hand to ruffle Yosuke's hair. ]

[ His perfectly styled hair! Yosuke playfully bats his hand away. ]
