[ presses a warm, lingering kiss to Yosuke's cheek. ]

[ That--...Yosuke laughs, giving Yu a playful shove against his chest. ]

[ Okay now he's just whining for the drama because he's not making much of an effort to pull away. How much closer can they really get?

Now Yosuke will place a few stray kisses to Yu's brow. ]

When did you get so needy?

[ Asks the truly clingy one. ]

Hmm. Maybe it was the day you lost your mind and let me kiss you?

[ tilts his head into those kisses, sighing contentedly and letting his eyes slip shut. ]

[ Yu is so cute. Why is he so cute? Yosuke would be upset if he wasn't endeared immensely. He's also glad Yu is in a much better mood, now. ]

Crazy, right?

[ He laughs lightly, smoothing his hand over Yu's hair. ]

Yu pulls in a silent breath, his lungs hitching as he tries to swallow past his heart in his throat. The core of his chest feels molten, soft and pliable and too hot.

Unsteadied, knowing what he feels but too scared to acknowledge it, Yu leans in and silences them both with a soft, lingering kiss.

... how am I going to tell him ...? ]

[ It seemed like an easy (and obvious) admission, but mostly Yosuke is just content. He hangs onto that kiss before he tries to turn it into something a little deeper, a little pleasantly sloppy.

He is glad he was able to open his mind to the possibility of Yu, and consequently, his heart. He doesn't know what his life would have been like otherwise. ]

[ Yu will allow himself to be eased into this deeper kiss, sighing through his nose as he opens his mouth to Yosuke. But Yosuke may be able to tell he's a little distracted by something, even as he toys idly with the hair at the nape of Yosuke's neck. ]

[ Yosuke gladly reacquaints himself with Yu's mouth and tongue, but he can tell that Yu isn't as into it. After a moment he'll pull back. Yu is too close for Yosuke to properly focus but Yu will probably feel his frame straighten. ]

You okay?

[covenantal]

[ Ah... he was caught.

Yu pulls back just enough to try and see into Yosuke's eyes, as if there might be some secret locked behind them. Eventually he says, with a soft little smile, ]

Yeah. I was just thinking about how much I like you.

[ ... it is true, in a sense. ]

[youraffection]

[ Well, it's certainly enough to fluster Yosuke a bit, even though he just had his tongue in Yu's mouth. ]

You are a sap...

[covenantal]

[ kisses the tip of his nose, sweet and cheeky. ]

It's your own fault, you know, for being such a wonderful boyfriend.

[youraffection]

[ He can't handle it when you say stuff like that. Say he's awesome at something that doesn't make his stomach flip, Yu. Because let's be honest, he just wants to be good enough for Yu. ]

Don't try to blame this on me, you dork.

[ Yu will get another playful shove because their flirting has to be mixed with something that seems manly. Like shoving your best friend. As you cuddle with him on his bed and listen to how much you like each other.

You know. Manly. ]

You'd say that no matter what.

[ Yu rolls away with the shove. Though... not far. He just flops onto his back, at which point he looks over at Yosuke, deeply wounded. ]

I have to blame it on you. It's all your fault, after all. Maybe if you weren't so cute...

[ gives him a deeply solemn look and shakes his head.

shame on you. ]

[ Yu is too much. He laughs a little, slapping his hand playfully on Yu's chest. ]

My fault? I can't help that I wake up like this.

[ No, no he doesn't.

Yu knows what Yosuke looks like first thing in the morning. ]

"Like this"? You mean with messy hair and drool on your t-shirt?

[ very innocently. ]

[ Okay, now he's tempted to shove Yu off the bed entirely. ]

[ Actually, he is a little flattered which is clearly why he can't come up with a good comeback. Instead he'll just nudge Yu with his foot. ]
