[ Yosuke falls sideways back onto his bed.

He lets the songs cycle through again, each time the weight taking its place on his chest as his heart beats furiously in protest. With every repeat, the words and melody dig deeper and deeper into his bones and squeeze his veins. Really, that's the only logical reason for why he's feeling hyper and lightheaded at the same time, right?

He glances at the clock beside his bed. The time flashes 2:34 AM, and somehow he doesn't feel tired at all. No, he's half tempted to jump out of bed and do a few laps around the block. Is it excitement? He's not sure what to label it. But whatever it is, it makes him fidget, roll over onto his stomach and look back at his phone.

He scrolls through his text conversations with Yu. As far back as they go.

He flips through pictures on his phone. Dumb selfies he took with the intention of posting them on Instagram, others just for fun. He forced Yu to pose with a few of them without his damn cats. He's not sure if it makes him want to smile or laugh or just hide his face. He feels like the picture is looking back at him. Is it silly?

He feels so silly. It's past three in the morning, he shouldn't feel this silly or giddy.
