[ Yu is laughing as their lips reconnect, but he'll finally let it go, happily settling into his boyfriend's arms. The hand on Yosuke's face slides into his hair instead, carding through it slowly.

He missed this. He missed teasing Yosuke, seeing his boyfriend flustered, discovering how his lips taste from moment to moment, day to day. And he'd better not think about it too deeply, or his chest will start to ache in ways he can't fix. ]

[ He kisses Yu less hurried than the last time, that first night where they reacquainted themselves with eachother mouths and made up for all the lost kisses seemingly in a focused hour. No, now he feels like they have time and he wants to keep Yu's happy mood. A small series of kisses, light and teasing, likely in response to his Yu had been messing with him.

It's a strange shift in his world, that this thing that was equal parts wonderful and nerve-wrecking has become familiar and comforting. He figured that you're supposed to feel like you belong in a relationship, but when he decided not to spend his first night back not in his own bed but in Yu's arms? He finally started to understand what it meant to come home. ]

[ That first night had been a haze of emotions so strong Yu hadn't wanted to name them. Instead he'd simply shown Yosuke how he felt through his desperate kisses, through the strength of his arms, through his unwillingness to let even an inch of space between their bodies. They'd eventually calmed down enough to doze in each other's arms, Yu finally feeling reassured that Yosuke wouldn't simply disappear if he dared to let go.

This is more languid and sleepy and sweet, which is fine by him. Every time his mind threatens to wander Yosuke places another kiss on his lips, and it's enough to keep him feeling warm, from backsliding to places he can't recover from, at least not easily. He was already there earlier today, a shattered mess of held-in grief that had taken hours and a good deal of coaxing from Yosuke to work through. Now that he's calm again, he's not entirely willing to immediately go back.

Maybe he should feel guilty for that. But he also knows he can't drive himself insane, either.

Ryoji wouldn't want that.

Yu breaks off to bump their noses together, not even opening his eyes as he breathes against Yosuke's lips. He'll kiss Yosuke's upper lip, the corner of his mouth, and then ease back into a deeper kiss. ]

[ Yu is always so sweet. Something that could be scary is just so enticing with him, helping him forget that he ever worried about the implications of kissing another boy. His lips are soft and inviting, even as they tease him at the corner of his own mouth. Youske sighs into the next kiss, testing as he gives a quick swipe of his tongue along Yu's bottom lip.

Then, somewhat uncharacteristically, he gives an amused snort mid-kiss. ]

[ Yu is just opening his mouth at that obvious invitation--

--when Yosuke starts to laugh instead, and he breaks off, somewhere between amused and offended. ]

What's so funny? [ lightly bumps his nose against yosuke's in an incredulous eskimo kiss ]

[ Yosuke is so not usually the one to break the mood, especially when things are getting good--and they both seem to feel like they have a lot to make up for--but Yosuke can't help himself. ]

You did a total 180 as soon as I mentioned doing this.

[ ...

After a prolonged moment in which Yu blinks a few times, he slowly goes red as a beet and kind of glances away. ]

I don't know what you're talking about, [ he murmurs, dying on the inside. ]

[ Yosuke just grins, allowing a few laughs that he refuses to call "giggles" fall between them. So then it's his turn to tease as he leans in to smile against Yu's lips before placing a quick kiss on his upper lip. ]

Hey, I'm just glad to see you smile again.

[ The sincerity is palable. He watches Yu closely, out of focus due to the proximity. ]

[ hhmmgngnhmmgnh. Yu is still very red, his mouth a crooked line, as Yosuke leans in to kiss him. Instead of reengaging, Yu will choose to hide his face in the pillow and only peek at Yosuke with one eye.

... but his hand will skate across Yosuke's cheek, card though his hair, curl around his neck. Just moving, brushing lightly.

He doesn't seem to know what to say, words locked in his throat, so Yu just tugs him close and hides in the column of Yosuke's throat instead. ]

[ Yu is cute. He is too friggin' cute. There's no way Yosuke has ever looked at another guy and thought this before, but here they are. He can feel the hair on the back of his neck standing on end from Yu's touch, gentle as it is, like little electric shocks that he can't ignore.

So he'll let Yu hide if it pleases him. He'll let Yu pull him close as well, adjusting so that one hand rests on Yu's bicep while his other arm is underneath Yu, resting lazily on the bed behind him. Yu's hair brushing against his neck and chin gets another little laugh out of him.

It feels nice to laugh so freely. ]

That tickles.

[ Yosuke will feel more than hear Yu murmur against his skin, nonsense words that don't mean anything. Yu will press a few aimless kisses to Yosuke's neck, slow and soft and not really thought through. He'll tuck his head closer, probably on purpose. You know, to tickle Yosuke more.

Yu's got one arm between them, hand resting on Yosuke's chest, while the other continues its slow, affectionate exploration.

After a moment, Yu huffs.

Does that tickle yet? ]

[ It certainly does! Yu's breath and hair tickle his skin while his lips and the movement of his fingers send a shock down his spine. He'll let out another breath laugh, as one might expect, before he gives an involuntary shudder, as one might not expect.

That's a little embarrassing. ]

[ Yu will still, obviously just kind of ... thinking over that shudder.

And then he huffs again, accompanying the puff of hot breath with a kiss to Yosuke's jaw. ]

[ Yosuke takes back his last mental appraisal of Yu. He's not cute, he's cruel. Yosuke inhales sharply and closes his eyes, the hand on Yu's upper arm tightening. ]

H-Hey...

How the tables have turned, [ Yu breathes out, warm, and Yosuke may be able to hear - or feel - the laughter in his voice.

Not willing to let his prey escape now, Yu will instead let his free arm cinch over Yosuke's waist, and he just kinda keeps doing the thing. ]

[ Dammit, Yu. The arm that is half-pinned under Yu snaps up to press his open palm to Yu's upper back. He gives another shudder, the combination of his warm breath and warm lips make his skin tingle and heart race. ]

You're terrible...

[ He'll move the hand on Yu's arm up to his cheek, encouraging him to lift his chin and meet Yosuke's lips for an open-mouthed kiss. Yosuke closes his eyes and doesn't think about the satisfied little groan that follows. ]

[ Yu will hum into the kiss, a distracted mmm-hmm, but most of his attention is captured by the inviting heat of Yosuke's mouth. The twist of their tongues together is a now-familiar feeling that somehow still hasn't lost its spark. Yu huffs out hard through his nose, his only concession to the full-body shiver that he won't let overtake him.

Probably before either of them really want to stop he'll break off, panting slightly, and nip on Yosuke's lower lip, rolling it between his teeth. ]

And you're distracting, [ he'll mumble. ]

[ He likes kissing Yu. Like, a lot. He would honestly do this all day if it were possible, so he'll take the moments he can and create others when the opportunity arises. When they're alone, it's certainly a lot easier to be free with his affections and to not be totally embarrassed by what Yu's teeth on his lip do to him.

Yosuke huffs, pushing forward to take another wet kiss before admitting, ]

That was kind of the idea.

And I'm the terrible one?

[ Yu presses a few short, sticky kisses to Yosuke's damp, inviting lips. Then he'll simply stay close, nosing at Yosuke's cheek, cupping his boyfriend's jaw in both hands. ]

Are you staying tonight?

[ Yosuke lets his eyes fall completely shut as he just soaks up the other boy's touch. He'll sigh before he speaks, quiet and soft, ]

If you want me to?

Mm.

[ a kiss. another kiss. and then he bumps their noses together in a much more chaste eskimo kiss. ]

Long as you won't get in trouble.

[ He huffs a laugh, shaking his head as their bangs stick together. ]

You'll have to kick me out if you want me to leave.

Keep saying things like and I might ask you to stay forever.

[ presses a warm, lingering kiss to Yosuke's cheek. ]

[ That--...Yosuke laughs, giving Yu a playful shove against his chest. ]

Don't get all sappy on me.

I always get all sappy on you.
