Because he's trying to figure out WTF Yu wants with him. And if he really needs to buy condoms even though that is so nothing he is prepared to use or do?? Yosuke eventually shows up without condoms. Even though he did spend a good fifteen minutes pacing down the aisles of a convenience store trying to decide if he would.

Which is why, when Yosuke opens Yu's door, he can find Yu definitely NOT lounging Sexily™ on his bed, a come hither look in his eyes and a ... costume of some sort on his body. He definitely does NOT have the fishnets as well as the stiletto boots. Absolutely not. Everything is normal.

Just kidding he's totally dressed up as a sexy devil. In what he definitely thinks is a Sultry™ voice: ]

He spends a good minute outside Yu's bedroom door, too, contemplating his fate and wondering if ignorance might be bliss. Why is Yu so good at making him nervous without doing much of anything?? Gah.

[ okay, so like, of all the reactions he expected yosuke to have - horror, outrage, outrageous embarrassment - this ... really wasn't one of them. yu ends up blinking several times at his boyfriend, his seductive smile morphing into quiet surprise.

and then slowly he just ... kind of gets more and more red in the face.

with a huff Yu pushes up on his arms, swinging his legs over the side of the bed and pouting a little. ]

[ To be fair, it's partially relief--relief because Yu couldn't have honestly been planning on actual sex if he's wearing that thing. He got Yosuke all worried for nothing, didn't he? (Thank god??)

So here's Yosuke, holding onto the door frame as he just lets himself laugh at the complete ridiculousness of the situation.

Anyway, of course not. Have you ever tried walking in heels before? It's impossible.

[ well, he's got the boots off now, anyway. what's probably obvious by now (and what may be a relief to yosuke) is that he's wearing boxer-briefs under the costume, hidden only by careful positioning when he was posing on the bed. but like, point being that he's not naked and clearly never planned to be. so that's a plus, probably?

Yu will pause as his hands lift to the lacing over his chest, and he waggles his eyebrows at Yosuke. ]

It’s funny, though, seeing Yu be the uncoordinated one. He snickers as his boyfriend struggles with the stockings. But he’s left with a shirtless Yu in his underwear with little devil horns on.

That...is...leaps and bounds more interesting to him, he realizes rather quickly. And immediately coughs as Yu stretches, averting his gaze slightly off center. ]

That’s surprising—it already looked like hell to wear.
