[ Yu will mumble something indistinct against Yosuke's skin, practically sagging against him. God, he's so tired, and Yosuke's fingers through his hair are only reminding him of his soul-deep exhaustion. ]

[ So he's finally let himself feel tired? That's probably good, as seemingly sudden as the change is. If anything it shows just how tired Yu actually has been all this time. ]

Yu, that's weird.

[ He gives a light tug to the hair that hangs at the base of Yu's neck. ]

Is that how I'm gonna have to get you from here to bed?

[ mgngnghmgmggn. ]

[ Kisses the tip of Yosuke's nose. ]

You could carry me across the threshold in your arms.

[ He...

He could try. Maybe. Yu's only got a couple inches on him, but he has been active in sports... ]

[ ... Yu just dissolves into laughter and lets his forehead thunk against Yosuke's. (tbh his face is souji's on the left.) ]

I'm not -- you don't have to carry me. If I'd known you were so determined to cuddle, I might have stopped sooner...

[ It's nice to hear him laugh, even...if it might be slightly at Yosuke's expense?? No, really, he's okay with it. And his shove against Yu is pretty playful. ]

[ Yu follows, taking his chance to drape his arms over Yosuke's shoulders and just lean against him. ]

Then clambers onto the bed beside him and pretty much just clings to his side like a barnacle.

[ Well this is the second time he can mentally pat himself on the back for a Mission Accomplished, even at the expense of his dignity.

No, it is totally worth it. Yu is smiling and laughing. That's really all he can ask for.

Okay, there's gonna be some ground rules for the kind of shit we talk about in bed.

[ He wiggles and rearranges his arms real quick, making sure he can wrap one around Yu's shoulder as he lays on his back. ]

[ Yu shifts as Yosuke does, so they can both get comfortable. One of his hands ghosts its way up Yosuke's chest, to cup his cheek instead. ]

I thought cats were an appropriate topic of discussion at all times.

[ Presses a kiss to Yosuke's jaw. ]

[ Oh.

See. That would be nice if they weren't just talking about Yosuke making out with the fat cat. ]

...I know that comes with the territory, but romantic relations with cats? A definite no.

[ He'll still lean into it, though.

But he has to get these out before they get too involved. For his own sanity. ]

[ Too bad, because Yu will use his palm to tilt Yosuke's face towards him and kiss him deeply, humming quietly in satisfaction.

... only to break away moments later and go: ]

[ yeah he's definitely fucking with him now. ]

[ Yu is definitely the worst. Yosuke is most definitely following that kiss, only deterred when Yu teases him again.

Yosuke's eyes narrow. ]

...Okay, see, you're already breaking the first rule.

[ Hums again, tilting his chin up so he can nibble on Yosuke's earlobe just a lil bit. ]

Sorry, which rule was that?

[ Did he just... ]

[ Well if he wasn't blushing before he sure is now. ]

[ Yeah, this is a losing battle. ]

Oh screw it.

[ With that, Yosuke will shift onto his side so he can cup Yu's face in turn and give him a proper kiss on the lips. ]

[ Yu is laughing as their lips reconnect, but he'll finally let it go, happily settling into his boyfriend's arms. The hand on Yosuke's face slides into his hair instead, carding through it slowly.

He missed this. He missed teasing Yosuke, seeing his boyfriend flustered, discovering how his lips taste from moment to moment, day to day. And he'd better not think about it too deeply, or his chest will start to ache in ways he can't fix. ]

[ He kisses Yu less hurried than the last time, that first night where they reacquainted themselves with eachother mouths and made up for all the lost kisses seemingly in a focused hour. No, now he feels like they have time and he wants to keep Yu's happy mood. A small series of kisses, light and teasing, likely in response to his Yu had been messing with him.

It's a strange shift in his world, that this thing that was equal parts wonderful and nerve-wrecking has become familiar and comforting. He figured that you're supposed to feel like you belong in a relationship, but when he decided not to spend his first night back not in his own bed but in Yu's arms? He finally started to understand what it meant to come home. ]

[ That first night had been a haze of emotions so strong Yu hadn't wanted to name them. Instead he'd simply shown Yosuke how he felt through his desperate kisses, through the strength of his arms, through his unwillingness to let even an inch of space between their bodies. They'd eventually calmed down enough to doze in each other's arms, Yu finally feeling reassured that Yosuke wouldn't simply disappear if he dared to let go.

This is more languid and sleepy and sweet, which is fine by him. Every time his mind threatens to wander Yosuke places another kiss on his lips, and it's enough to keep him feeling warm, from backsliding to places he can't recover from, at least not easily. He was already there earlier today, a shattered mess of held-in grief that had taken hours and a good deal of coaxing from Yosuke to work through. Now that he's calm again, he's not entirely willing to immediately go back.

Maybe he should feel guilty for that. But he also knows he can't drive himself insane, either.

Ryoji wouldn't want that.

Yu breaks off to bump their noses together, not even opening his eyes as he breathes against Yosuke's lips. He'll kiss Yosuke's upper lip, the corner of his mouth, and then ease back into a deeper kiss. ]

[ Yu is always so sweet. Something that could be scary is just so enticing with him, helping him forget that he ever worried about the implications of kissing another boy. His lips are soft and inviting, even as they tease him at the corner of his own mouth. Youske sighs into the next kiss, testing as he gives a quick swipe of his tongue along Yu's bottom lip.

Then, somewhat uncharacteristically, he gives an amused snort mid-kiss. ]
